Fur Coats & All listings on our web site are currently offered with a $9.99 listing fee and a brokerage fee of 25% for items selling between $100-$300. There is a 15% fee for items selling for $300- $600, and 10% fee for items ranging from $601 - $900. Finally,5% for item seeling between $1000 - and up. These fees will be deducted from the sale price of the item when it is sold. This is compared to 50% that most consignment services charge. We feel certain that this is the lowest price available. To clarify: your item will be listed for a non-refundable fee of $9.99 and will be listed for one year. Once the item is sold the brokerage fee will apply. Please keep these fees in mind when setting the asking price for your listing. Payment for the brokerage fee (when the item is sold) will automatically be deducted from the payment we receive from the buyer. You can cancel your listing at any time, for any reason. To cancel your listing, please e-mail us at escrow@furoutlet.com, and indicate your escrow item number. (You can find the escrow item number by viewing the item on our web site.) When items are shipped to us, they must be insured for the full purchase price that you're requesting for the item. This is to protect you from loss or damage during transit. Method of shipment is up to you, but the item must be traceable (UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, etc.), insured, and arrive in a timely fashion - - when you're shipping us an item, we've already received payment from the buyer, and they're expecting the item's prompt delivery. If an item must be returned to you (buyer is unhappy), it will be shipped via United States Postal Service. Seller is responsible for shipping charges between Fur Outlet and the seller.

 Shipment

When items are sent to the buyer, they will be insured for the full purchase price. Shipping is done via United States Postal Service. No items will be shipped to a Post Office Box. The buyer is responsible for the shipping charges between Fur Outlet and the buyer.

Please Note: We do not guarantee delivery by a specified date. We'll do our best to work with you and deliver items if you need them by a specific date, but please do not rely on this unless we explicitly guarantee the delivery.

All items that are shipped to Fur Outlet - whether a return, garment for alteration/storage, or otherwise - must be fully insured and traceable. Most major carriers provide some kind of tracking mechanism - check with your carrier of choice for details. If you intend to use the United States Postal Service, please request "Delivery Confirmation".

Fur Outlet will not be held accountable in any way, shape, or form for items that are lost or damaged during shipment. All items must be sent to us via an insured, traceable method for this reason (see previous paragraph).

The customer is responsible for all shipping/handling charges between Fur Outlet and the customer, unless specifically stated otherwise. This includes sales, returns, exchanges, and all other transactions involving shipment, unless otherwise stated.


 Inspection Period

The buyer will have one day to inspect their purchase. Package tracking will be used to determine the date the item was received (see "shipment"). If a return or exchange is to be made, it must be shipped back to us within this one day inspection period. (We don't need to have the package in our hands within one day, but there must be clear evidence that it was shipped back within that timeframe.)


 Returns

All returns must be shipped back to Fur Outlet within the inspection period. If the product is received as sent, in "new" condition, a store credit will be issued. If the product is damaged in any way unrelated to shipment, the buyer will be obligated to pay for repairs or to purchase the item.

All returns must be insured during shipping for the full purchase price of the item - if the item is not insured, a 15% penalty charge may be deducted from the original payment. This is to protect against loss or damage of the item during transit. Returns which are shipped back to Fur Outlet without a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation will be refused and returned to the customer at their expense. (We need to be able to verify the time elapsed from original delivery to time of return shipment in order to process refunds, credits, or exchanges.

The customer is responsible for all shipping/handing charges between Fur Outlet and the customer. That is, when items are returned or exchanged, the customer is responsible for the shipping/handling charges involved with the return of the item, or the shipment of a replacement item.

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

All sale items must be paid in full, option for layaway for items on sale is not available.

Garments with an applied monogram are returnable for store credit only. Additionally, there is a $150 alteration fee charged for the installation of a new lining (necessary to remove the monogram).

Custom-made garments are not returnable, as custom work is tailored to one specific individual. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for custom made garments. All custom-made garments are manufactured to the measurements provided by the customer - if the garment does not fit as expected, the customer will be responsible for the cost of alterations. (Instructions for taking accurate measurements are available here.)

Items in our discontinued or "close out" category can be exchanged or returned for store credit only. We do not offer refunds on these items.

Store credits are valid for one year from date of issue; if they are not used within one year, they will expire.

Escrow also know as Vintage Items: Vintage is a Pre-Owned Or Estate Piece One Of a kind, From Our Fur Collections "Sold as Is". In addition, Escrow items are pre-owned, vintage, estate or used items, one of a kind. We act as a "middle man" in escrow transactions to protect both the buyer and seller. Vintage items can only be purchased by paying via a U.S.P.S Money Order Only. No exceptions.

Special Sale Items: Special sales, made available through our mailing list, print material, coupons, or other means, may be subject to their own terms and conditions. See sale information for details.


 Auction Items

Items offered for sale via online auctions fall into two categories: discontinued and "close out" items, and promotional items.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for these items. All auction sales are final. Please keep this in mind while bidding, and contact us before placing a bid if you have any questions. Above all, we want you to be happy with your purchase, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns.

Your bid on an auction item is a contract. Place a bid only if you're serious about purchasing the item. If you are a winning bidder, you will enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item.


 Lay Away

No interest charges.

Payments may be made by credit card, personal check, USPS money order, and certified bank check (cashier's check).

Easy monthly payments. You may pay as often as you wish, but a minimum of one payment must be made each month.

The first payment must be at least 10% of the total purchase price ($50.00 minimum if paying by credit card).

The minimum payment made each month will be no less than $50.00 ($50.00 minimum if paying by check, credit card or money order).

There is a Cancellation Fee of 15%. If you decide to change your purchase order you will have to pay a fee of 10%.

There is a Restocking Fee of 20% if the fur material has been purchased and you wish to cancel your order.

The lay-away must be completed within one (1) year.

First payment must be received within 10 (10) days from initial order.

If no payment is received within ninety (90) days, lay-away is forfeited; the initial deposit and any previous payments will not be refunded.

Please note if you wish to be auto-rebilled then you are bound to the autorebill. You can not remove the auto rebill status, so please be sure you want to be rebilled automatically. Thanks.

Your e-mail address and invoice number must be included with all payments.

If paying by personal check, check(s) must clear our bank before merchandise will be shipped.

All payments should be made payable to "Fur Outlet".
