All listings on our web site are currently offered with a $9.99 listing fee and a brokerage fee of 25% for items selling between $100-$300. There is a 15% fee for items selling for $300- $600, and 10% fee for items ranging from $601 - $900. Finally,5% for item seeling between $1000 - and up. These fees will be deducted from the sale price of the item when it is sold. This is compared to 50% that most consignment services charge. We feel certain that this is the lowest price available. To clarify: your item will be listed for a non-refundable fee of $9.99 and will be listed for one year. Once the item is sold the brokerage fee will apply. Please keep these fees in mind when setting the asking price for your listing. Payment for the brokerage fee (when the item is sold) will automatically be deducted from the payment we receive from the buyer. You can cancel your listing at any time, for any reason. To cancel your listing, please e-mail us at escrow@furoutlet.com, and indicate your escrow item number. (You can find the escrow item number by viewing the item on our web site.) When items are shipped to us, they must be insured for the full purchase price that you're requesting for the item. This is to protect you from loss or damage during transit. Method of shipment is up to you, but the item must be traceable (UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, etc.), insured, and arrive in a timely fashion - - when you're shipping us an item, we've already received payment from the buyer, and they're expecting the item's prompt delivery. If an item must be returned to you (buyer is unhappy), it will be shipped via United States Postal Service. Seller is responsible for shipping charges between Fur Outlet and the seller.

Whew! Moved to a new location, sorry for the delay with updates. Still in the process of remodeling, please bare with us.

Next Priority: Escrow service where you can sell your used garments through us.

What's New?  September 10th, 1999

The search engine is now fully installed. You can find it off the main navigation bar. We've switched to a different script, which should hopefully be a little better than the previous one. (Rankings, faster searches, so on.) If you experience any problems with it, please let us know. It seems a little flaky with Internet Explorer, so we could use your feedback.

Cleaned up the navigation bar while adding the "search" link - much nicer now.

A search engine has been installed to make everyone's lives easier. The link will be added to the navigation bar shortly, for now you can find it in the main FAQ page.

More text-based navigation, and a (hopefully) easier system of getting around the catalog. Graphics optimized for quicker download.

Men's jackets have been added, finally. Now, if we could only find a few willing models for the women's section.. anyone care to volunteer?

We've been doing extensive testing with different browsers to ensure that everyone will get the best possible experience. If you have anything to suggest, please let us know.

Hats have been added. (Finally!) Right now, it's "One Size Fits All" only - - the other styles will be added to the catalog shortly. (Daniel Boone style hats, etc.)

The catalog itself has been overhauled and looks much better. Higher quality photos, thumbnails, a cleaner layout. A pop-up window for the shopping cart, so on. Hopefully all the time spent on it will make everyone's experience a better one. :)

The "Boa" section is the next priority, better photos and the adoption of the new layout. And after that, the big stuff: Coats & Jackets. Stay tuned.

Better photos of the merchandise are now available. They're not professional quality, but they will be, when the budget permits - we promise. :)

Thumbnails are now in place for the current catalog. The catalog itself is still expanding by leaps and bounds, it just takes time to get photos of all the items together. Be patient!

Earmuffs & Head Wraps have been expanded. Take a look.
